Share Our Blessings

A woman was sleeping when Jesus appeared to her dream. In her dream, Jesus told her that he is going to her house. When she woke up, she was very happy. She said to herself, "Jesus is coming to my house. I must prepare for it." She get her bag and went to the grocery store. After that, she cooked a lot delicious dishes. She cleaned her house and waited. After an hour, someone knocked in her door. She got excited because she thinks that it is Jesus. She opened the door. A beggar was in front of her door and said, "Young Lady, can I have some water please, I'm so thirsty and I came from a far place." The woman replied, "I'm sorry but I have a visitor to came. I can't let you in. My house will get dirty." The beggar said, "Just give me some water, please." Sorry, but I am busy right now," she said. She shut the door, sit and waited again. A couple of hours passed and someone knocked in the door. She opened the door and saw her friend crying. Her friend said, "Sis, I have a problem, my child is at hospital right now and i need some money. Can I borrow some money from you?" But she answered, "Sorry, I have a visitor to came so I use my money to buy foods. She shut the door and waited again. Another hours passed, and again someone knocked in her door. She said to herself, "Maybe it is already Jesus." She opened the door and saw another friend of hers. Her friend said, "Friend, I was very happy, I got promoted at my work." She replied to her friend, "Sorry but I have no time for your stories. I am waiting for someone and I am very busy right now. Again she shut the door and waited. Suddenly, she felt asleep. Jesus again appeared in her dream. She felt upset and asked Jesus, "My Lord, why you didn't come to my house? I cleaned my house and prepared a lot of foods."  Jesus answered, " I came to your house thrice. But you don't let me in." "You came? but I don't remember." Jesus said, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." The  woman remembered the people who knocked in her door. First, the man who asked for something to drink. Second, a friend who is borrowing money from her. And the last one is a friend who wants to share her good news. When she woke up, she reflected in her actions and asked forgiveness for what she did.

Jesus said, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."

Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?"

The King will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

This is a quotation from the bible Matthew 25: 35-40. We can show our love to God if we do good things to our neighbor. We must share our blessings to others and share the words of our Lord to them. God bless us all.
