Love Your Neighbor

A man died and while he was in heaven, God asked him. God said "While you were on earth what did you do?" The man answered, "I followed all yours rules. I didn't kill. I didn't steal. I didn't lie. I didn't commit adultery." God asked him again, "While you were on earth what did you do?" The man answered again, I didn't kill. I didn't steal. I didn't lie. I didn't commit adultery." God asked the same question again, "While you were on earth what did you do?" The man answered, "Why are you asking the same question, I didn't kill. I didn't steal. I didn't lie. I didn't commit adultery." God answered back, "I don't ask you, what you didn't do? I asked you what did you do?

This is a story I remembered when I attend the mass. The priest said that it is a sin when we disobey the ten commandments. These sins are called the sin of commission. And when we failed do good things that we are capable of doing, it is also a sin. These sins are called the sin of omission. For example, someone needs help and you are capable of helping and you don't help him, you committed the sin of omission.

Jesus always tell us Love your neighbor as you love your self. Maybe, this is the way to show our love to them. Help them when they are in need. Feed them when they are hungry. Give them something to drink when they are thirsty. Visit them when they are sick. And pray for them when they need our prayers. Good day everyone.
